Ralph's 60th Birthday October 28, 2008

Ralph turned 60 today. The Campbells and us took them out to dinner after work to the Belmont Hotel on Ft Worth Ave. It has been refurbished and really looks like something out of the 50's. I could see the Mertz' and Ricardos staying there on their way to California.

We had a very enjoyable dinner at the Cliff Restaurant at the hotel. Here are a few pictures of the event.

Happy Birthday Ralph!!!!

October 24, 2008 Lake Pointe Fall Festival

Friday evening I met the kids and grandkids at the fall festival celebration. There were all kinds of rides and games and food. I'm sure there were 5,000 kids there and everyone was having a great time.

Fin really liked the petting zoo and his yoyo - that is about all I saw since I was late getting there.

We went to eat at Chili's and it was fun being with everyone. We had one table with 10 girls and one table with 4 guys. Quite a group.

Here are a few shots... it is almost imossible to get a good one of all the grandkids.

Happy Halloween!!!!!!!

8 is a hard number to get a good picture of everyone!!!!

Fun Weekend October 4, 2008

Stacy and Brandon went to a wedding in the Bahamas from October 2-8. Janette and I shared the Wall girls. They spent the weekend at our house and we got to visit with Suzanne and Tripp while she was keeping him for Trey and April. Trey preformed the wedding for Michael Smith in the Bahamas. We went to the park with them and with Georgia and Fin. We had a great time.

Larnon turned 3 months on October 11. She is smiling and is such a good baby. I kept her at their house along with Georgia and Fin while Clint and Emily went to a play recently. It was the first time she was away from her mom. She did fine and took 3 oz of formula from her bottle.

Bella got some late birthday presents from her Uncle Richard and Aunt Teresa and cousins Colby and Cheryl. She loved them. It rained Monday so she got to use her umbrella when she went to school.

Bella turns 7 and Fin turns 3 on September 1 and 2

On August 30 we gathered to celebrate Fin's 3rd birthday. He enjoyed a baseball cake made by Gam and some snacks to go with it. He received lots of neat gifts, Spiderman things, hot wheels, T Ball and even golf clubs. He loved everything and had a great time with many family members.

Pictures below.

We were going to celebrate Bella's 7th birthday on Sunday the 31st, but Bella got the stomach virus and wasn't up to cake and ice cream. She did go with her Mammie on Saturday to pick out her American Girl doll before she got sick. Pat, Meme and I went by her house on Sunday to see her "open" her doll house that the Jones, Longs and us gave her. Here are a few pictures of the unveiling. She received a Brats bike from her mom and dad and sisters.

You can tell she doesn't feel good in the "doll house" pictures.

Pat and I celebrated our 24th birthday on August 31 too. We went out to eat at Gloria's at the Harbour in Rockwall on Thursday night to celebrate.

Enjoy the pictures.
