December 23, 2008 Allie Herbold comes to visit

Meme's 10th great grandchild, who is also her 8th great granddaughter, came to see us today. She brought along her parents, Katie and Jacob and her Tesa and Pops too. We were all so happy to finally meet her and see how cute she is. Some of her cousins were able to come by and meet her too and they think she is great. She and Larnon are very close in age and had lots to talk about when no one was looking.

December 1, 2008 YaYa Christmas party

The YaYa's met for our anual Christmas GNO ornament exchange at The Ranch restaurant in Cedar Hill on Monday Dec 1. We so enjoyed each other's company. We shared stories and thoughts and had a very touching prayer. We each remembered Peggy and missed her as we always do when we get together. She'll always be part of our YaYa Sisterhood.

I hope everyone is blessed with true friends who bless your life like my girlfriends do mine.
Merry Christmas YaYas.

November 27, 2008 Pictures from Thanksgiving at the Walls

Thanksgiving was so much fun at the Walls home. All our family was ther (the Jones family celebrated Thanksgiving in Florida from 2004-2007) so we were especially glad to have them back with us. Richard, Teresa and Zack joined us too.
All the grandchildren enjoyed playing outside, riding on the 4 wheeler and the tractor and jumping on the trampoline and playing inside with all the toys.

It was cold enough for a fire in the fireplace and the Cowboys were playing on TV so all the guys were happy too.

THe food was wonderful. Meme cooked the turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce and pumpkins pies and the rest of the girls cooked there specialties.

Stacy did a wonderful job decorating and her house was very welcoming and both she and Brandon made everyone feel right at home.

Lilly's Fairy Fourth Birthday November 16, 2008

We enjoyed Lilly's 4th birthday at the Wall's on Sunday afternoon. It was the first time that Brandon's family and Stacy's family got to be all together at their home. It was so much fun to be with all of them. The children all had a great time celebrating and getting to know the Wall's new pets (you'll meet them later in the blog).

Lilly is REALLY into fairies so her mom decorated with fairies and Lilly had on her wings!!!

HAPPY Fourth BIRTHDAY LILLY McQUEEN!!!! We love you!!!

Enjoy the pictures below. Keep scrolling after the pigs and see a video.

Sassy and Firecracker

Introducing Sassy (black) and Firecracker (red) Wall. These 2 "little" piggies have come to live on the farm. Chloe is going to train them and show them at some local fairs starting in January 09. They were very popular as you can see.

Halloween October 31, 2008

Lisa and Brian invited all our family to their house for hot dogs and chili pie. All the goblins went trick or treating in their neighborhood. The "adults" rode on the golf cart. The kids got to go on rides later in the evening and I think they enjoyed that the most.

Meme, Larnon and I stayed at the house and passed out candy. They had a fire pit in the drive way that we sat by so we were toasty.

It was fun to be together. Everybody was there, except Pat who was at the Farm.

Here are some pictures from the evening.
