September 1, 2009 Bella's birthday and her twins

Bella received some American Girl gift certificates for her 8th birthday. She and her sisters went shopping and Bella adopted twins, Matthew and Mattie. She also has lost both of her front teeth. Happy Birthday on September 1, Bella Rose.

September 24, 2009 9/11 Celebration

On September 11, 2009
This memorial statue made from steel from the buildings that were destroyed on September 11, 2001 is located on Zang Blvd in front of the Oak Cliff Tower. I attended a memorial service there on 9/11.

August 29, 2009 Prayers for Jay and Lester

At the reunion we all had a special prayer for healing for our dear friends, Lester Taulton and Jay Harris. Both are battling cancer. Our prayer is that God will heal them and restore them to us.
We love you Lester and Jay.

August 29, 2009 Trinity Oaks Reunion

The TO Reunion was fantastic. Over 200 friends from TO gathered to visit, sing and pray. Just a little taste of Heaven.

August 31, 2009 25th Wedding Anniversary

Our Children had a surprise 25th party for us at Clint's house on Sunday the 31st. Many of our friends joined us along with our family for a fun evening of food and even gifts. We were truly surprised and thankful that God has given us 25 years together. We are hoping for 25 more. Thank you Meme, Lisa, Clint and Stacy, Brian, Brandon and Emily for a great evening.

July, 2009 Georgia turns 6 and July 11 Larnon turns 1

Georgia turned 6 years old on July 10. She is enjoying her new house and especially the new swimming pool in the back yard. She and Fin swim a lot. On July 11 Larnon turned 1. She is starting to walk and she loves her new pink chair from Gam and Pa that is in her bedroom.

June 28, 2009 Pat's Birthday

We celebrated Pat's birthday on Sunday evening at Braums with all the family and the Hayes. Ice cream was enjoyed by one and all.

For my birthday this year I asked for a professional photo of my 8 grandchildren. As you can imagine this is no easy task, but Emily found a girl from Rockwall who was willing to take on the challenge. They met at the Harbour in Rockwall and she got some amazing shots. The one below is one of my favorites. Thank you Emily, Stacy and Lisa for making my birday wish come true. From the left they are Landry 8, Fin 3, Jake 10, Lilly 4, Bella 7, Georgia 6 and Larnon almost 1.

June 13, 2009 Four Winds Wills Point TX

The YoYas enjoyed a wonderful meal and a terrific visit at Four Winds. We missed the Arringtons who were out of town. The meal was delicious and the friendships priceless.
