Long Sisters

Emily took some cute pictures of Larnon and Georgia this weekend. Georgia has been very helpful to her mommy by holding Larnon on her lap while they sit on the couch. Larnon really likes being held by her big sister. Georgia is a very helpful and sweet little girl. Fin was taking a nap during the picture taking time. However...

He will be featured in the next pictures because he has a birthday on September 2. He will be 3 years old. Yea, Fin!!!

We'll see Bella too, she turns 7 on September 1. Lots of parties this weekend, and a 24th anniversary for Pat and me on the 31st.

Michael's 20th DCMS Anniversary August 22, 2008

Happy 20th DCMS Anniversay to my boss, Michael Darrouzet!

Granddaughters and Grandsons Day Out

On Monday, August 18, five of the granddaughters and I went out for a fun day.
We went to the nail shop for toes and nails. Then we journeyed in the rain to Walmart
where we purchased a Disney CD with songs from Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers.
For lunch we went to Chick-fil-A and enjoyed good food and some ice cream too.
Then we turned up the music and drove over to Plano to the theatre that had the 3D
movie "Fly me to the moon" showing. All the girls enjoyed watching the flick. It was a fun
day and built a lot of memories. We dropped off Landry in McKinney and picked up Jake and
made the trip back to Rockwall.

On Tuesday, August 19 it was Grandsons day. Jake and Fin spent Monday night with us.
When we woke up (early) we ventured to the doughnut shop where the boys enjoyed pigs
in a blanket, doughnuts and doughnut holes. Then we drove to Mckinney for the new "Star Wars, Clone Wars" cartoon movie. They both enjoyed that and then we went to McDonalds for lunch and playground time. We dropped off Jake at home and Fin and I went to Target and got some Spiderman sheets for his birthday on Sept. 2.

I had a great time spending time with all of them, but boy was I tired. I had to go back to work to get some rest.

August 3 and 4, 2008

On August 3rd we met Ralph, Debbie, Chig, Jeremy and Clint's family at Taco Bueno after church for lunch. Then we all went up to Stacy and Brandon's to see their new house. The grandkids had a great time playing on the slip and slide. We all enjoyed a good visit.

On August 4th we all met over at Lisa's house and had a swim party. I have been enjoying working 4 days a week this summer and having Monday's off. Lisa and Brian's pool is so beautiful and fun. I had a great time playing with all the swimmers.

Here are some pictures from these fun times.

July 28, 2008 Mini YAYA Road Trip

On July 28th my YaYa's met me at the local diner where we enjoyed being together and having breakfast. We were ready for a fun day. First we went by my house and picked up Meme and Sally and Evalee saw our new home for the first time. Then we went 2 miles down the road to see baby Larnon, Georgia, Fin and Emily. The YaYa's brought presents for all and it was a fun time. After that we travelled to Farmersville to see Stacy and Brandon's new house. Again the YaYa's had presents for all and we enjoyed visiting with Stacy and seeing all that they have done. Around 1:00 we packed up and set the GPS for Spoons in downtown McKinney where we enjoyed a late lunch before heading to Lisa and Brian's home where we visited with them and enjoyed the presents the YaYa's had for them Some of them hadn't seen Lisa, Jake and Landry in a long time, since they have been in Florida for the past 4 year. Here are some pictures from our day. It is so much fun when we can all be together. Thank you YaYa's for being who you are.
