January 16, 2010 Yaya Birthdays in Grapevine

On Saturday January 16, 2010 we headed to Grapevine for a day of being together and celbrating Debbie, Suzanne and Sally's birthdays. We had a great pizza lunch and then pastry treats across the street before we headed to the movies to see It's Complicated. We all needed to laugh and we did. Evalee would have roared at the movie. We all think she and Peggy were with us in spirit. They are always spoken of and remembered each time we are together.

January 9, 2010 Debbie turns 60

We celebrated with Debbie and Ralph at Dunston's after seeing Sherlock Holmes at the Inwood theatre. Happy 60th Debbie!!!

January 2, 2010 Evalee

On Saturday, January 2, 2010 one of our YaYa's went home to be with Jesus. Evalee Jackson was a wonderful friend to many people. We will miss her until we see her again.

This picture was at her 65th birthday celebration on September 23, 2009 at Maple and Motor Burgers. Debbie was giving her a birthday hug. We didn't know at the time that it would be our last time together as a YaYa YoYo group.

We treasured our time together.

December 24, 2009 Christmas Eve at the Walls

Merry Christmas from Papa and Nana and our wonderful 8 grandchildren.
We had Christmas Eve at the Wall Farm with snow and a roaring fire, fajitas and tamales.
It was a wonderful day. We are blessed to have a loving family.

December 20, 2009 YaYa Christmas Dinner

We enjoyed being together at a tea room in Arlington. We missed having Evalee with us very much. Evalee was very ill and we were all very worried about her condition. We are thankful to have the strong bond of our friendships that have seen us through ups and downs, good times and sad times. I love my YaYas.

December 7, 2009 CW Kings 90th Birthday

We enjoyed celebrating Chig's 90th birthday party with his familiy and friends.

November 2009 Thanksgiving and Cheer Competition

In November Chloe and Bella's cheer group had their competition and Chloe's group won their division. It was fun watching both of them. They worked very hard and had a great time.

We celebrated Thanksgiving at Stacy's house and then again with Richard and his family.
