March 21, 2009 The Bosts Visit Texas
My very best childhood friend, Jackie Foster Bost and her husband Bryan came to our house for lunch on Saturday the 21st of March. Jackie and I have been friends since we were 11 years old at Trinity Heights Church of Christ. The Bosts have been missionaries in Sao Paulo Brazil for over 30 years. They are back in the states visiting their children and grandchildren in Oklahoma and California. They are also visiting the churches who have supported them for so many years. We share many treasured memories and love the time we get to visit!!!!

March 10, 2009 25th DCMS anniversary party
On Tuesday, March 10th, DCMS gave me a 25th aniversary party. It was lots of fun. There was a very funny video of "lovely Linda" pictures from the past 25 years. DCMS gave me a very nice check, my workmates gave me three gift certificates and my membership workmates gave me a beautiful plant and rose bush. I was very honored to have most of my family here to celebrate with me. I love working at DCMS, it is difinitely my other family.

March 8, 2009 Happy Birthday to Jake, Chloe, Brandon and Clint
March 8 was our birthday celebration for Brandon, Clint, Jake and Chloe. Unfortuantely, Fin was sick with a stomach bug so the Longs didn't get to join our celebration. We missed them and it wasn't the same without them, but we celebrated anyway. Jake turned 10 on March 2 and Chloe turned 10 on March 10. Brandon and Clint are 34 this year on the 15th and 21st. We love all you March people.
